A Look Behind the Camera: A Photographer's Story
I have always been really intrigued by photography. I use to take pictures of my little sister. I remember when I was too young to understand the nature of cheetah print and alcohol and I made a set for my sister with a empty margarita glass and I wrapped her in a cheetah blanket. Looking back now it is pretty funny, all I knew was that I was taking really cute pictures of my sister and I loved it! Pictures started to become very important to me. I loved looking through albums and laughing and remembering different times in life. Pictures are one of the best things we can use to remember people by, whether it is because they have grown up, moved away, or passed on. I ended up taking my own senior pictures and it was so fun. And for the little camera I had they turned out pretty good. In 2011 I started dating the guy in the picture, my now husband, Ryan, and he noticed my increasing interest in photography. He bought me a Nikon Coolpix to practice with and see if I really did like photography. Ryan pushed me, he researched with me and he made me pursue it because he knew I loved it. I finally bought my first DSLR and started shooting in March 2013 and here I am today. I love what I do as a photographer. It is the greatest job ever!
